Altamis Nabil nominated for Global Peace & Humanitarian Award

Bangladeshi author, independent filmmaker and tech expert Altamis Nabil has been nominated for Global Peace & Humanitarian Award, 2021, in Good Governance Award category.

Altamis is currently serving the role of Business-Engagement Lead of Bangladesh National Appstore ‘bdpps’.

He is also serving the role of 2021 Executive Vice President of global youth network JCI Dhaka West.

He also founded the social initiative ‘Bangladesh Positive Foundation’.

The Global Peace and Humanitarian Awards-2021 is presented to honour individuals and organizations whose exemplary efforts have significantly improved the lives of others and contributed consistently to a culture of peace and humanitarian service.

For the first time on 21 October, 2021 (new date)- on the occasion of the International Day of International Peace – BDSIF and its international affiliate DSIF have taken the initiative to organize a different event in Dubai for the establishment of world peace outside the country.

More than 50 nominees from 16 countries are participating in this exceptional event in Dubai through final nominations. The day-long event will feature international speakers on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and establishing peace, which will be broadcast live on Facebook Live.

These prestigious awards also seek to honour those who have demonstrated great courage and creativity in their work with the ability to inspire others in their work, the ability to lead, the ability to take responsibility and the incredible honesty in difficult situations.
